Starting from nothing
Anyone with an interest in the music is welcome in the band, whatever their age. Instruction is offered on the practice chanter and the drum pad, and is given by members of the band themselves. Practice instruments are lent out, so there is nothing to buy before you begin.
Piping lessons are run by our Pipe Major, Don MacLeod, through his own school. Rates, times and booking are on his site: kalamalkapiper.com. For drumming, contact the band directly.
Students work at their own pace and, when they are ready, join full band rehearsals and play with the band.

4. Join the band
